What do I get straight away?
Filou’s boarding pass — a commission slip with room for your explorer’s name and their destination, and three things to find out about where you’re going while you wait. The full adventure follows within 48 hours.
Can you really do any city?
Yes — any city families actually travel to. Big capitals, small towns, island villages. We research each destination properly: its real food, its real words, its real traditions. If a place is so tiny we can’t do it justice, we’ll tell you before we start — and refund on the spot.
How is 48 hours possible?
Every Mirabelo adventure follows the same proven shape — story, map, first words, recipe, missions, passport stamp. For a bespoke adventure we research your city and write its story into that shape. The bones are proven; the soul is all your destination.
What about the printed edition?
You get the digital adventure within 48 hours either way — so it can start before you fly. The printed edition is made on demand and typically arrives in 2–3 weeks, so if your trip is soon, order early or start with digital.
How is it different from the ready-made city adventures?
Same shape, same PETIT/GRAND missions, same Filou. The difference is that it’s researched and written to order for your destination — that’s the bespoke part, and the price reflects the craft. If we already cover your city, buy that adventure and save.
What ages is it for?
Three to eight. Every mission comes in a PETIT version (3–5: pointing, drawing, doing) and a GRAND version (6–8: reading, counting, remembering). It’s a do-together adventure — littler ones need a grown-up co-pilot, by design.
What if the local language isn’t French, Spanish or Japanese?
All the better! The word cards come in whatever is spoken where you’re going — Portuguese, Vietnamese, Icelandic — each with a plain how-to-say-it guide. No prior knowledge needed, for you or your explorer.
